Designing a Company’s Business Logo


One may ask, what is a logo?

It is a diagrammatical representation or designed illustration of what a company does and produces. It is noteworthy to point out that a logo is not a brand for where a logo is tangible as it can be seen; a brand, on the other hand, is abstract, it can only be felt, but together, they could either make or mar an enterprise.

When referring to logos, one must understand that it is a very vital part of a business enterprise, not its finished products or readily available services. The logo serves as a form of goodwill to the enterprise, representing what the business stands for.

When one has an in-depth understanding of what the goals and objectives of a company are, it becomes easy for such an individual to create a logo, something that can be easily relatable to the company.

These logos after, being prepared, can now appear on business cards, websites, stickers, shirts, and anything that might represent the company wherever and whenever.

It is advised that samples of the already prepared logo can be taken to the market for research on whether the target audience understands what the logo represents. In case of misunderstandings, the designer can make adjustments to suit the needs of the market of the company’s products and services.
